Desde 2003 que Steve Powers (aka ESPO), un conocido artista conceptual del movimiento Street Art Neoyorquino, trabaja rediseñando las grafías de las atracciones del parque de diversiones de Coney Island, NY.
The Dreamland Artist Club es un conglomerado de artistas avocados a la misma tarea de ESPO: generar una experiencia visual que caracterize a Conney Island, sin dejar de lado el pragmatismo y la funcionalidad de los objetos intervenidos (un cartel debe ser legible, así como un juego no debe dejar de ser seguro).
